KINGROON Hyper PETG 3D Printer Filament 1.75mm — High Speed, 5KG or 10KG
🧵 KINGROON Hyper PETG 3D Printer Filament 1.75mm – High Speed, 5KG or 10KG
KINGROON Hyper Series PETG (HS-PETG) — engineered specifically for high-speed FDM printers. High fluidity and rapid cooling formula supports print speeds up to 600mm/s, making it the ideal filament for Bambu Lab, Creality K1, and any high-speed capable printer. Two-way laser diameter measurement ensures ±0.03mm accuracy throughout every roll. Ships from the United States.
What Is FDM 3D Printing?
FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) is the most common type of 3D printing. Your printer melts plastic filament and deposits it layer by layer to build a 3D object. The filament is the “ink” — it comes on a spool, feeds into your printer’s hot end, and gets extruded through a nozzle. 1.75mm refers to the diameter of the filament strand, the standard size for most home and prosumer FDM printers.
PET vs PETG — What’s the Difference?
PETG is PET (the plastic used in water bottles) with Glycol added. That one change makes a big difference for 3D printing:
| Property | PET | PETG |
|---|---|---|
| Printability | Difficult — brittle, moisture-prone | Easy — forgiving and reliable |
| Flexibility | Rigid, brittle | Semi-flexible, impact resistant |
| Warping | Prone to warping | Minimal warping |
| Moisture resistance | Absorbs moisture easily | More moisture resistant |
| Best used for | Bottles (industrial only) | Functional parts, outdoor use, enclosures |
Bottom line: PETG is the print-ready upgrade over raw PET. Hyper PETG takes it further — same great PETG properties, now optimized for high-speed printing.
Standard PETG vs Hyper PETG
| Property | Standard PETG | Hyper PETG (HS-PETG) |
|---|---|---|
| Max print speed | 50–100 mm/s | Up to 600 mm/s |
| Fluidity | Standard | High fluidity formula |
| Cooling | Standard | Rapid cooling formula |
| Diameter accuracy | ±0.03mm | ±0.03mm (laser verified) |
| Winding | Tangle-free | Automatic precision winding |
| Best for | Standard FDM printers | High-speed printers (Bambu Lab, K1, etc.) |
