What Is FDM 3D Printing?
FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) is the most common type of 3D printing. Your printer melts plastic filament and deposits it layer by layer to build a 3D object. The filament is the “ink” — it comes on a spool, feeds into your printer’s hot end, and gets extruded through a nozzle. 1.75mm refers to the diameter of the filament strand, the standard size for most home and prosumer FDM printers.

Printing Tips
- Dry at 55°C (131°F) for 8 hours if moisture is suspected!
